seeing it kind of reproduced in, you know, filmed on a camera is kind of I think not different enough from what they're doing to actually provide any sense of insight.
And instead what you're really looking at is, ooh, you know, it becomes like a chess move competition, like who's going to own whom, you know, and I don't know.
Anyway, it's not super satisfying.
Yeah, and I think that almost like that end of the problem feels almost cartoonish.
I don't think it doesn't.
I'm not saying that it doesn't play a role.

So it sort of felt a little bit like β
playing it for laughs or I don't know.
I didn't find it totally satisfying.
I think partly because I think there are a lot of other much more nuanced and scary things going on and things that aren't really talked enough about with rigour.
Actually, there was a really interesting piece that the ABC online did very recently about...
these sort of pyramid-type schemes being marketed to young tradies, young men, you know,
saying, oh, you know, work differently, leave the nine to five, we'll train you in sales, you can get rich online, work three hours a day.
All of these sort of guys going, yeah, man, it's amazing, you know, living the dream.
And it turns out to be pretty much like a pyramid scheme where essentially you pay $10,000 to then do a course and then your job is to kind of recruit other young men.
