And I'd sort of worried about it a little bit.

Well, not expressly worried about it.

But one of the things about Trump, particularly in the second term, is that

all of the sort of flashbangs and controversies are all out in the open, you know, that it's stuff that he's saying, it's stuff that he's doing, it's planes that he's accepting or he's, you know, knocking down the East Wing or, you know, it's all so kind of fast-moving and explosive that I was thinking, like, what is left for the, you know, the closely reported stuff that Swan and Haberman are both really well known for?

I know you have sales because it's an incredible piece of writing and it made me think, oh, God, of course, of course this is what the book has to do and it's different.

And that is the real question in the Trump White House isn't really so much what's Trump doing or is he doing anything outrageous or whatever.

It's sort of what are the people around him actually doing and that's the stuff that's

that the book, well, this extract really fills in so powerfully and intelligently.

It helps make sense of things.

So I actually read it and thought, yeah, no, I want that book for sure, ASAP.

Where they brought Benjamin Netanyahu into the situation room and who said what to whom.

Yeah.

Absolutely fascinating.
