I mean, really, if you think about it, Stacey last played when?
In the late 90s?
And so, I mean, if you're in your 20s right now, the only connection you have with Stacey as a player is maybe on the video board at the United Center, going on YouTube to see highlights of the three-peat, the first three-peat.
And so Stacey, his foundation and legacy as a broadcaster was connecting people.
And he would break down plays, break down players, all that good stuff.
But what he had is the uncanny ability to have humor and to have fun.
And at the end of the day, you two are in the entertainment business.
You know when you have to hit the gas pedal and you know when to take it off.
And I think that was the beauty of Stacy.
