Here, this is the twining memo here that says Cold War era Air Force document in 1947 after a wave of UFO sightings, specifically Roswell, General Twining, then the head of something.

The head of the Air Material Command sent a classified memo to the Pentagon about flying disks.

In the memo, he stated, the phenomenon reported something real and not visionary or fictitious.

The line is why the memo is frequently cited in UFO discussions.

Now, the memo suggested that the objects are a real phenomenon, that further investigation is warranted.
