Because when you understand the way that suffering actually works and you're no longer resisting it, you will find meaning.
Your brain will work right, is the bottom line.
And that's what a lot of people are grasping toward.
A lot of young people on the internet are grasping at this, this kind of thing.
And that's the kind of thing that we're talking about here.
that when you're doing something that's an uncomfortable thing, it's a morally uncomfortable thing, it's an emotionally uncomfortable thing, it's a spiritually uncomfortable thing, or yeah, it's a cold plunge, or whatever.
You're doing this thing, so you're exploring the space, you're transcending yourself, you're exploring the space of actually non-resistance towards suffering.
And you're saying, I don't know why I feel better.
Because the right hemisphere of your brain is illuminated and you have an understanding, an inchoate understanding, a wordless, ineffable understanding of the meaning of your life.
