I do believe that subconsciously she knows the possibility and that she really is going there to try to bond with Leary.

Even though in this moment, she's like, I'll be back before the end of the day.

It's fine.

Khan here thinking that she just really and truly thinks that she's going to bond that fast.

But in Wraith's perspective, it's like, no, I just got to go up there, take the saddle off, and then I'll come right back.

That makes the lore way more complicated, but goodness knows it is absolutely possible in these fantasy books to expand into the universe versus the individual world.

The sooner Rave leaves, the better.
