Back to the facts.
Calus wrote the Book of Void, where all of the official runes have come from.
Known runes include, but are not limited to, get ready for a long list, friends, protective shields, including to protect against moonfalls, mending flesh and bones, those experts are called flesh threats, they're the healers of this world, waterproofing, runes for illusions, like drapes that look like stone, or windows disguised as walls.
Then there are runes that we know Essie sketched to protect her and Rave's home, like the
like making someone throw up or instant death, the immediate urge to shit yourself, sudden loss of vision, the unnerving belief that a Multimaw just stuffed its beak down this very tunnel and is trying to pluck them out like a bug in a hole.
Real quickly, why doesn't Pyrock experience this one?
I love you, Sarah, but that is a missed opportunity for a really funny scene.
He was too busy vomiting.
Then there are, of course, runed objects like parchment larks, a shroud, which is this world's version of an invisibility cloak, glamouring objects like Veya's identity theft bangle, musical instruments to carry the sound, blood bond vials, tooth caps, and really and truly, friends, there are thousands upon thousands, thousands, thousands more rune examples, but I'm going to stop here.
Yes.
I noted all of that too.
And how Khan was voiding against Rigon so he wouldn't worry.
And then when he went unconscious, that's when Rigon was like, not on my watch and
pumped him with flame and energy that he almost combusted the smoke around con looking like dragon wings behind him just so so cool how their bond and rigon giving con his strength how connected they are is betrayed and what's more i love the moment that rigon through con stares at rave and slotra comes out both beasts bonded and connected to these fey locking gazes with each other
Slotra and her protective nature wanting to come out.
Now on to the next one.
Oh my goodness, Pyrok and his dragon are just adorable.
Like how Mael, who's just an adolescent, seeks comfort from her bonded and how she's practically trying to climb into his lap even though she's a dragon twice as big as Leary.
Yes, absolutely.
And I also just love the part, too, where Rave's just like eating Pyrox jerky.
