In fact, it could be a really good season for both of them because of the potential that they could meet in an FA Cup semi-final, or even, should the gods be aligned, meet in the final.
It has the potential to be a really decent season for Crystal Palace.
It's just that they feel like they're in a dip, particularly at home at the moment.
Just in terms of Premier League survival, there are quite a few of the three o'clocks that both these teams will be keeping an eye on.
One of them...
is at the Cardiff City Stadium, where Cardiff are leading West Ham by a goal to nil Junior Hoylet.

However, we must remember that they are winning at the moment.
When you're looking at the table at this stage of the season, are you looking not just at the points difference between yourself and relegation, but how many teams there are in between?
How many teams are going to need to do well?
What's your feeling then?
Are they going to be all right, both teams today, Crystal Palace and Brighton?
