Chapter 1: What were the highlights of Brighton's 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace?
Knockout. Still knockout! Oh! Anthony Knockout has produced a moment of serious magic to restore Brighton's lead.
What a way to win a match. All three points go to Brighton at Selhurst Park, and you can see what it means to all the players, including the captain and man of the match, Lewis Dunk, who joined in the celebrations with the Brighton supporters at the final whistle. Both goalscorers, Glenn Murray and Anthony Knockart, are with Greg Whelan.
Glenn, Anthony, very well done. Glenn, how special a result, both for the points and the bragging rights.
Yes, a huge result for us. We've come off the back of some poor form, got a crucial win last weekend, and to back it up this weekend with three points is big for us.
And Anthony, how special a goal was that to win it?

Chapter 2: How did Anthony Knockaert's winning goal impact the match?
It's amazing, you know, great feeling. Obviously we were desperate to get back-to-back wins and we did it, so especially it's nice to help the team and obviously get the winning goal, especially for Derby. It's a special day for us and for the fans.
Well, Glenn, you know a bit about scoring goals, and we'll come on to yours in a second, but what did you make of his? Because we saw during the celebrations, you appeared to put your hand in front of your mouth almost in shock.
Well, I've seen him do that a number of times in training, and it always misses the target, to be fair. So when it comes off, I was quite shocked, but no, it was a superb finish and a goal worthy of winning any game, I think.
Tell us what was going through your mind, and have you scored many better?
No, to be fair, I saw a space for me to go inside, so I went inside. I could have hit it the first time, but I felt like it was too close to me, the left back, and I wanted to take an extra touch. Obviously, I had more space to take it perfectly. I did it, so yeah, it's a superb finish. But more importantly, I'm really buzzing for the three points today.
Turned out to be the last thing you did on the pitch, wasn't it? But in some respects, were you perhaps a little fortunate to still be on the pitch after that challenge on Milivojevic early in the game?
No, I spoke to the ref at half-time, and obviously we said that we both went for the ball, but I was a bit late. It's always like this, the ref told me that if I got the ball first, he would have been booked himself. I think we both went for the same goal, to get the ball, but he came first, so I touched him a bit. As I said, he was... It was a challenge and the ref just dealt with it.
So not a bad goal for you either, but were you a little surprised, Glenn, to be on the pitch at that moment?
Yeah, I thought you meant I should have been sent off, but no, obviously it wasn't meant to be starting today. Unfortunate for Florian, five minutes before the kick-off he felt he was growing a little bit, so I got drafted in late doors and it was nice to get a goal.

Chapter 3: What does Glenn Murray say about his performance and the team's morale?
Great to get the three points, not a bad boost ahead of an FA Cup quarter-final next weekend either, is it?
Yeah, huge, like I say, referring back to last week, that was a big one, a big one this week, and then we'll look towards another huge one following weekend up South London again.
And just very finally, that's 100 league goals in a Brighton shirt, special moment and not a bad game to get it in.
Yeah, no, you know what, things like that don't bother me yet, it's something to look back on and just delighted to get the three points.
Great result, guys, very well done today. Thank you very much.
So two goals for Brighton at Selhurst Park this afternoon. Four attempts, three of them on target, but in terms of how likely they were to score from those chances, the expected goals 0.16 on only five occasions this season in the Premier League, has there been a lower expected goals rating? It's not how you win and lose matches, Liam. However, it does show how difficult those chances were.
Yeah, the two goals for me aren't even chances, they're just wonderful strikes. Even Glenn's, the first goal from Glenn is an outstanding, it's top class, the top class. It's probably the first time he touched the ball in 20 minutes and that's what Glenn Murray can do. And then Anthony shows his class.
It's an unbelievable goal of the season from a Brighton point of view and what a game to do it in. It was a huge game today, not just because of the rivalry, but there's a massive three points on offer for Brighton today to get even further away from that relegation zone.
Glenn Murray hadn't been in the starting lineup, got called in because of a last-minute injury in the warm-up. Starts the game, Liam said he'd grow into it, he'd take that mantle on, he'd like to be the man who came in and saved Brighton, and he scored the opening goal. How good a finish was it?

Chapter 4: How significant are the three points for Brighton's relegation battle?
It's an excellent finish, and that's what good strikers do. We were talking before at half-time. He hardly touched the ball. He probably touched the ball three or four times. It's a great ball from Dunk. Well, I'm going to say it's a great ball because Liam said he's got that in his locker.
And Tompkins makes a mistake, but when he gets in that position, this is what you tell young strikers, knee over the ball and the technique on the volley to control that and beat Guaita into the bottom corner. It's a fantastic finish from Glenn Murray. And this is what Brighton weren't doing, going in behind, but at 35, he's still getting in behind.
And I said to you, when he gets chances in and around the box, You want Glenn Murray on the end of them because he finishes it ever so well. It's a great finish.
When we thought that Andoni was going to be starting, we talked about the pace that he has, Liam. Is it almost the case that for Glenn Murray, because he doesn't have the pace, he has to go for the shot there?
Yeah, he has to go for the shot, but his reading of play is so important. We spoke before about his ability to score goals, but what I love about this finish is the amount of time he takes over the finish. A lot of strikers you see would snatch at that chance, but he's so composed. Yes, Tompkins can do better with the initial clearance there, but he slows himself down, steadies himself,

Chapter 5: What did the players think about the referee's decisions during the match?
and technically it's a perfect strike into the far corner and that is what glenn's done for his whole career he's always done this where people say about hold up play and lincoln play which is so important but the most important job for a striker and the hardest job in football is to do that put the ball in the back of the net he's done it all his career i agree mate because i've been in them situations many times in my career and you do right you do snatch on it snatch out because you're excited but he was cool calm and collected it's a great finish it's gone right into the side net it's a tremendous finish
Well, that was an excellent goal from the pass from Lewis Dunk to the finish from Glenn Murray. However, was the winner something special?
The winner was brilliant. To score a goal like that and the winner in a derby like that was brilliant. And he was having a bad game. We were talking about it, me and Liam Moff. He was just about to get substituted. He did, but it's brilliant. I think Patrick Van Arno does enough. He thinks, I'm going to show him inside. Maybe he shouldn't, but he's close enough.
But the finish, he's actually bent that outside the post. And that's postage stamped right into the top corner. It's a fantastic finish to go and win a derby.
He talked about how van Aanholt got very close to him, didn't he, in the post-match interview, but the finish.
The finish. You could point fingers at van Aanholt there because he knows Anthony Lockhart's left-footed.

Chapter 6: What role did Lewis Dunk play in Brighton's victory?
Now, as a full-back, you want to show the winger onto his weaker foot. But Anthony's so good at manipulating the ball to get into that position. And to be honest, that strike is top class. And credit Dale Stephens as well. It's a fantastic diagonal pass to begin that move. I think he deserves some credit in the goal, but Anthony's finished. He can do that in training, like Glenn said.
And I've been waiting for him because he's got so much ability, Anthony. So see him do it on the big stage today, I'm absolutely delighted for him.
And when you can tell it's really special is when your teammates are absolutely stunned by what you're able to do. Glenn Murray said that he's seen him do this lots of times in training. He didn't look like he'd seen him do it lots of times in training.
I don't think he's seen him.
Usually that's probably going out of training ground. Anthony will be having a few words with him after when he sees that back. But it's a great reaction. It's what makes the game great. We're talking about expected goals, statistics. You can't count for someone to turn inside and curl up on the top corner from 25 yards to win a game of football. That's why we love it.

Chapter 7: How did Crystal Palace respond to their defeat in this match?
He said he had a word, Anthony, knockout with the referee at half-time. Was he lucky to be on the pitch?
I think he was fortunate it was so early in the game.
I think it was about 10 seconds into the game, and sometimes referees are on the side of caution, a derby game, and I think when Anthony looks at that back, he'll be disappointed in himself because he's not a great tackler, and he's an attacking player, but he goes in there, and I'm delighted for Javelic because he's not stood up, because if he stood up on that, that could really cause him some harm, but it just worked out to be Brighton's day-to-day, and that's the way it goes sometimes.
Will Palace feel aggrieved? Most definitely. I think the ref got it wrong. It was a Stonewall red card. But it is early in the game and that's why I think he didn't send him off. But it's a naughty tackle. I'm not saying he knows what he's doing, but he's led right and it's dangerous the way it's gone into him and caught Milivojevic. Liam knows Konaka more than I do.
I don't think he's that kind of player, but it's a missed time tackle. The letter of the law says it's a red card, so Palace will feel aggrieved.
And no matter what kind of player you are, it's still an equally dangerous challenge. We saw the celebrations at the final whistle from the Brighton players. Almost all of them were over there with the Brighton fans. They've only just now been allowed to leave the ground. They've been making so much noise down there celebrating this. The players absolutely delighted.

Chapter 8: What are the implications of this match for both teams moving forward?
They're eight points clear of the relegation places and they're now level on points with Crystal Palace who've played a game more than them. How significant was it that they got those three points and got those three points in this fixture?
Absolutely huge. You can see that. Look at the table and I think Chris Hewton will have a good night's sleep tonight and he's earned it because it's been a difficult few months for the club. It's been the first time the club have gone through a period of form where they've not picked up the points that maybe they deserve.
But to come out with six points in two games, it shows the margins of the Premier League. If you can string a couple of results together, you can pull yourself right away. And now they can really look forward to what's a massive game at Millwall next week, trying to get to Wembley in an FA Cup semi-final.
We saw the ball from Lewis Dunk for the opening goal from Glenn Murray, but his all-round game, his defensive performance, what did you make of it?
Yeah, he was absolutely top class, but the thing is it doesn't surprise me. The thing with Lewis is you see his almost last-ditch defending, which he's superb at, but he's a fantastic footballer in possession as well. I'm absolutely delighted for him because he's worked so hard, he's a Brighton lad, he's worked his way through the youth scheme. He's in the England squad.
I can't see him coming out of the England squad. But this, for me, he takes the ball down his chest, a lot of centre-halves would have just headed that clear. And the way he struck that ball, I've seen him do it in training, a lot of people say, no chance he's meant that. The quality of player that he is, I know he's meant that pass. And you see what it means to me in the game.
Absolutely, he was outstanding today.
No, he was. He was. He won every ball in the box. Every time Palace played him, I was saying to Liam, Mike, get something here. No, dunks in the way, blocks. And he's so comfortable on the ball. That's what I like about my centre-halves. I want him to head it and defend, but he's so comfortable. He wants to bring the ball out. He was a revelation this afternoon. He deserved a man in the match.
Yeah, four blocks, the most he's made in any game this season and, of course, involved in the opening goal. What's interesting is there was a real contrast of styles in the game today. Brighton sometimes accused of being a little bit too direct, but both those goals showed that there's a way to be direct, that it's a long pass rather than a hopeful ball.
