There was a time where she was like pretending to be a dog.

So she was like, you know, as kiddos do, running around on all fours, like pretending to be a dog.

And she like slipped on something and hit her face on the linoleum floor.

And her teeth turned black.

Her two front teeth turned black.

They essentially died.

And they didn't take her to a dentist or anything.

And also, too, in that she injured her jaw to where she couldn't, like, chew and swallow properly.

And that's something that she has dealt with.

Like, I don't know if she's been to a doctor, but it's something she's dealt with at least until she was an adult.

And the whole time, like, I remember...

She would take a really long time to eat, and she would, like, have to, like, basically liquefy her food in her mouth before she could eat it.

And my parents and myself and my other sibling, because that's the thing, like, you see your parents doing something, so you think it's okay.

So my parents would make fun of her for eating so slow, and then we would do it too.

And it's just, like, now that I know it was from this injury, because...

It's just horrifying.

How do you not take your kid to the doctor?

And then there was also stuff like she stepped on this piece of glass and cut her foot pretty badly.

No medical anything for that.

There was a time where my stepdad came through the door and
