Right.
Yet in Protestantism, we've got thousands of different denominations.
If we all sat in a room and we read the Bible, we would all come up with a different understanding of some passages, right?
Are we meant to understand it through the lens of our earliest Christians?
You know what I'm saying?
It's meaningful to me.
It means something.
And then also the divorce and Protestantism from our history, from these people of the faith that did heroic things.
It enriches a Christian's life, does it not?
And we're not worshiping these examples.
We're just...
Like what Josh was saying, it's like, it's enriching me because now I've seen an example of how someone lived out their faith in this heroic way.
Yeah.
Literally.
And I feel like, and this is just my, my experience of church in the West is that we're so divorced from our history.
We're so divorced from each other.
It's all about how I feel about my experience, you know, and how I'm experiencing the church.
And I could be called a hypocrite, right?
Because Josh and I are not fantastic about plugging into our churches that we're in, you know, but it's like, there's so much division.
