Grief is like the receipts we pay for love type thing.

And like you alluded, you're lucky to have love.

And you're lucky to have had the love of your mother or to have had your mother for X time.

I mean, like anything, it would never make the grief easier, but I liked what he said about that.

Yeah, like with this girl, this mum that's died, she was just like so full of mum love.

And so how lucky were the kids to have had that?

Because some kids don't have that.

But how shit that's been ripped away so soon, you know, like it's so hard.

And yeah, with what's so hard about parenting is the love you have for your child.

Exactly.

That's why it is so bloody hard.

Yeah, because you care so much.

Yeah.

And I try and, like, show each child I care every day.

Like, Louie, I woke them all up this morning, and then I heard Louie, like, when I left the room, Mom, back scratch.

And so I went, pardon?

And he's like, oh, quick back scratch.

So I went back and sat down and scratched his back.

And I'm like, I feel good that I did that.

Like, he goes to school knowing that Mommy scratched his back this morning.
