For years now, I've been holding a grudge with my family regarding their political stance, especially around queer and transgender rights. My parents have voted for Trump, and I cannot tolerate the emotional cognitive dissonance of having parents who on one hand love me very much and on the other hand are literally voting to take my rights away as a U.S. citizen.
