I think the facials a few times a year, brilliant, helping with circulation, gentle exfoliation.
Aesthetic treatments like Botox, totally personal choice for you.
Softening expression lines.
Yeah, why not?
So I do think that your routine is balanced and realistic and sustainable, which is, after all, the key very often to maintaining it long term.
What could you add in?
Well, as we go through our late 30s and 40s, collagen production is slowing.
Our skin cell turnover becomes less efficient.
So vitamin C in the morning in your serum, that can help support collagen production.
It can help improve brightness.
You might like to use a gentle retinol in the evening.
I don't know whether you're doing that, but I think a few times a week is really helpful.
It can help to stimulate cell renewal and actually improve skin texture over time.
And then just keep your barrier supporting ingredients really focused.
So look for ceramides, hyaluronic acid, peptides.
Love a bit of peptide.
You know, peptides are these skin signaling molecules that actually tell our skin to produce more collagen or to behave better or to calm down inflammation.
And I think looking for things like peptides in skincare is very helpful.
So, you know, Ruth, the good news, your routine to me already sounds very sensible and low maintenance.
So keep it up as we move on in life.
