And what ended up happening was there were a few kind of incidents of him ticking.
He ultimately did a tick where he used an extremely racist word while two black actors were on the stage.
I think it's important to acknowledge that John Davidson ended up leaving the ceremony halfway through because he was aware of the fact that obviously his tics were upsetting people.
And in the film, I swear, you see him really struggle to be in places that he wants to be in because he knows that obviously he can't be ticking.
And, you know, for example, he goes to get an award from the queen and he like initially is refusing to go in because he's like, I know.
And the minute he walks in, he's like, fuck the queen.
Like, you know, we anybody who has, I think, a base knowledge of Tourette's knows that this can be an aspect of Tourette's.
And, you know, some of the discourse around it has been really problematic, has been incredibly ableist and insensitive to the reality of Tourette's.
And honestly, it's it does come down to the BBC.
Like no one should have been put in the position that they are in now because now, you know, Michael B. Jordan and Delroy are both in trouble.
like, incredibly uncomfortable situations.

Like, they are both, you know, at the center of this storm that I'm sure they absolutely don't want to be in.

And poor John Davidson is also, as you say, the subject of immense abuse.
And the BBC has a duty of care.
And it's really disgraceful that they were able to edit out Free Palestine's from speeches.
