And so just for you guys, just in case there's any confusion on what a microaggression is, I'm reading from Google.
Microaggressions are everyday, subtle and often unintentional verbal, behavioral or environmental slights that communicate hostile or demeaning messages to marginalized groups.
So like, for example, suggesting, you know, using an angry black woman trope, like, for example, suggesting that all gay men are pedophiles, like, for example, suggesting you're not safe with the black man.
It kind of validates misheld beliefs about entire marginalized communities, and they're really damaging.
But Emi, she just can't take responsibility for anything, man.
And last week I was like, oh, she apologized.
This is growth.
And then we find out this week that it's not real.
Like even within this episode, Brad talks about the fact that he thought she'd apologized to him.
He thought they were on good terms, but then she was really cold to him.
You know, we see in this episode, Brad is having an event and someone comes in from the event and someone else is like, how did it go?
And he's like, oh yeah, it was great.
It was packed.
And she's like, well, capacity's only 93%.
Like she just can't, she's just not nice.
But I really do believe that her defensiveness and unkindness is actually coming from a very dark place within her.
I think she is deeply insecure.
And I really am not sure she should be on TV, to be honest.
Aside from that, just to mention that in this episode, we saw one of the cast mates, Grace Lilly, talk about an addiction to ketamine, which I thought was really powerful.
And again, I think this is one of those things that reality TV does really well when people are willing to actually be honest.
