This is our home and it's our community.

She said, I'm a single mother working full time.
I have two children.
My eldest son has a disability and intends one of the best secondary schools locally where he settled and supported.
He cannot travel alone by bus and moving away from this area.
would have a serious impact on his education and daily life.
That's what we're talking about here.

And it's really just disgraceful, the impact that this is having on people's lives.
It really is.
which I think adds a sort of another disturbing dimension to the whole thing yeah and I mean you would hope that obviously those people are able to think beyond their own interests but like it's it has to be a part of the conversation you know it absolutely has to be so I'm really like if you're someone who's being impacted by this or has already been impacted by this or you know I really feel for you and if you're one of those people who is trying to just have a life
you know, and feel in any way safe and is really struggling to do that, like, you know, the impact of that cannot be overestimated.
You know, you're really, you're not just talking about people's homes here.
You're talking about their mental health.
You're talking about their stability.
You're talking about their ability to plan, their ability to save, their ability to be in any way financially secure.
Like this impacts every area of people's lives.
