I had lots of friends, but I never felt very clever.

So in the afternoon on Saturdays, we'd either go to a museum or an art gallery or we'd go to department stores like Whiteley's or Selfridges and we'd just wander around.
It didn't matter whether we were in museums or whether we were in department stores.
