you look at the wbc and you look at pitchers than wbc and a lot of time um they put themselves in at more at risk for injury or you know because you're trying to go full throttle early and then you have to like kind of adjust and go into the season which is very different and so i've always been a little weary of it because it's like well i want to stay healthy and i want to be strong for the beginning of the season um i'll you know that's something i'll do later in my career i kind of
was looking up to Lance Lynn, who was my teammate at the time.
He played for Team USA on the back end of his career, had a good time.

Like, if I knew that I wouldn't be competing at this time, then I probably would have done it.
