Yeah.

If a show is already fantastical and whimsical, if it's science fiction like Severance, I can be immersed because it's not our world.

It's a different world.

But if I'm watching a show that's supposed to be realistic and supposed to take place in our world, everybody in a waiting room is going to be on their cell phone.

That is fact.

It's –

When people talk to each other, they're going to talk to each other like human beings.

It's not – they're not going to have like a quip for every – everything is a quip, quip, quip, quip.

Everyone is so clever and can make these funny jokes like, no, no, no, no, no.

Come on.

Let's do like – maybe a couple of these guys have a good sense of humor in the ER and can like make a joke like –

Now, I still think it's a really good show.

I think the gimmick, like the one-hour gimmick, is fantastic.

I really do enjoy it.

But I'm just nitpicking, like, come on, man.

It's weird that I'm watching an HBO show and it feels like I'm watching a network TV show.

I'll just say that.

Except there's gore and they say fuck.

I didn't play it.

I didn't download it.
