Chapter 1: What is Lucas Giolito's current health status and outlook for 2026?
They don't get to where they got. They don't get to that spot without you. That's what should be understood, that you're present. There's not a lot of pitchers that were like you in the American League. That is a fact. That is what you should remember. Yes, I'm bringing back bad memories from a couple days, but so be it. That is a fact.
If I had to do the hype reel for Lucas Giolito for the front offices around baseball, which I'll be happy to do, it'll be easy to do because you had a great year. You also got on track to have even better years.
I appreciate that. It's true. I'm fully confident that next year or the year after are going to be better. Last year... I feel like there were some very good highs. Again, just being out there and giving the team an opportunity to win games, it was like, thank God I'm back to doing something like this. This is what I love to do.
And so that's really what I kind of take away from it, being back out there. I felt like there was a lot of times where it was like, damn, I got to remember how this shit goes again. You know what I mean? And, you know, a lot of ups and downs for me personally and the team as a whole, but overall really, really positive.
But I look forward to next year, you know, just continuing to build off of that, you know, get back to, Kind of get back to my ways of pitching, get the strikeout numbers back up and all the stuff that I know I'm good at that I kind of didn't have firing at the highest level last year just coming back. I look forward to kind of piecing all that stuff back together now that... I'm fully healthy.
I'm not grinding through anything anymore. I'm going to have a full, healthy offseason where I'm putting amazing... Again, shout out to Cressy Sports out here.
Yeah, boy, their brand has never been hotter. Oh, my God.
Yeah, it's a really great environment. I'm here... You know, there's other guys with the Red Sox here, too, that I'll be seeing on a daily basis.
How – he'd gone there for – who else goes there?

Chapter 2: What food experiences in Boston are highlighted by Lucas Giolito?
Next 10 years guaranteed baseball's a boring tattoo. But so did you feel like – I'll come back to it. Did you feel like – again, this is my way of asking you, did you feel like you guys are going to win the World Series?
Yes.
you're going to get baseballs and boring tattoo. Did you feel like that was happening at some point?
Um, you, you don't know. Okay. I'm not like, I, I don't like live in, in fairytale la la land. You know what I mean?
It's like, why do you, why do you say that when I'm literally drinking a beer? I did a spit.
I'm just saying it's like, It's like, are we playing well? Yes. Okay, let's keep playing well until the very end. I don't sit there and be like, we're winning the World Series this year. You know what I mean? Like, no, you've got to work. You've got to play.
Did you watch the World Series, speaking of which? Yeah. It was epic. It was epic. It was epic. Sick. Was that the best game ever, you think?
The 18 inning or game seven?
No, no, no. 18 inning game wasn't. I jumped the gun on that. Like, I looked back at that one. I'm like, it was kind of a slog for the last few innings. Like, shout out to Will Klein. Good job, Will Klein.

Chapter 3: How does Lucas Giolito feel about his pitching performance last season?
Really good. Was it the best? The best? Best of all time? I don't know. I'm not enough of a baseball historian. I don't know.
Oh, okay. I drove away. So let me just tell you, I just told you that I met Tony Robbins, that Michael Kopech asked me or told me that there was no person he'd rather talk to. And I also stayed in Toronto at a place. Are you a big fan of Toronto? You like Toronto?
I enjoy Toronto, yes.
Chapter 4: What are Lucas Giolito's training priorities at Cressy Sports?
Yeah, Toronto's solid. I stayed at a hotel, boutique hotel, between the biggest bar in University of Toronto and on the other side was a frat house. Think about that on Halloween. Think about it. Hello, fellow kids.
For real. Why did you choose that?
It was cheap. Okay. And also, it was a nice place. I'd stayed there before. But I didn't realize that literally you're sandwiched by a college bar and a fraternity house. And I got the whole scene. I got the whole scene.
You go to the party, they let you in?
They would have. There was some salesman selling farm equipment from Western Canada who was literally sitting in the middle of it on the way into the door saying, And he struck up a conversation. He was like 30s. He was clearly like, this is my chance. What's your major type of deal?
That's funny.
Yeah. So anyway, that was one of my memories from the World Series. What do you go to for Halloween?
I'm sorry?
What do you go as? Yeah, I'm sorry. That was a lot of jumbled words together.

Chapter 5: What is the significance of the qualifying offer in baseball?
It's instincts. I'd love to, but I have no idea.
Yeah, well, you know how to handle this. You've done it before. What did you sign? I was on a cruise when you signed. I know when it was. It was the week after Christmas, the last time you did this.
You know better than I do.
Oh, really?
I don't remember when I signed at all.
You don't?
Mm-mm. I knew it was during the off-season.
Okay.
I was just asking my agent when I was talking to him on the phone. I was like, last year, did I sign early or late? This year, am I going to have to sign early or late?

Chapter 6: How does Lucas Giolito reflect on his time with the Red Sox?
250 a head. Something like that. But it's a whole thing. Yes. It's like a three-hour thing. Yeah. You get so much food. It was so much tuna and so much food that I was like – I felt disgusting for the next couple days, actually. And I was worried I'd turn into the Mad Hatter. What do you mean? I don't understand that. You don't get that reference? Mercury poisoning.
Oh, that's my line. I always like... I carried around... I got mercury tested once and I had to carry around a gas tank full of urine because... what wait you get mercury tested so you have to walk around with a bag of piss no it was come on don't over exaggerate it was a gas tank a gas tank of piss yeah is it yours yeah okay it was i was i had gone out to la and it was this um
What is it called? It's like a life coach, but it's like a longevity center. That's what it was, a longevity center, which is probably like where people get the clear and the cream. But anyway, I was training for a marathon, and they tested it. They said, your mercury levels are high. I'm like, yeah, because I eat a ton of fish.
So we got to test because we need a massive amount of urine, so you got to carry around this gas tank and pee in it for like three days.
sweet yeah i don't know how i got there but sorry sorry i'm sorry that's cool i'm sorry to do that to you um all right well that's a good memory i'm glad that you had that was right before you left there's so many i mean yeah there's so many uh but that's the most recent one i can think of that's the freshest on my mind who is who do you come away from sneaky such a good food city
Oh, it's not even sneaky, is it?
Is it not sneaky? Is it not considered... It's like, where's the best food in America? Oh, LA, New York, Chicago, right? And yes, those three cities have fantastic food. I was blown away by how good the food was in Boston, especially the seafood.
Give me your top three places to eat in Boston.
I can't. Oh, my God, dude.
