Yeah, it is so ironic.
And like, you know, even the whole like throwing the knit around your shoulders and adding the Ralph Lauren cap, like these are easy ways to make yourself look, you know, moneyed.
Like you've made the point before that like that used to be instinctual.
That used to be just like the aesthetic that you naturally are inclined towards.
This is like a subculture and a way of dressing that we're adopting to make
try to visually signpost something about ourselves that we're not.
It's actually not your own taste.
Exactly right.
But I think this is why quiet luxury, as big as it was, had to come and go.
Like it had to be replaced by something different.
Yeah.
You know, the pendulum swings back and forth.
So we had quiet luxury and then it reverted back to like a sort of maximalist aesthetic again because we got sick of that, you know, and it is just trends coming and going.
Yeah.
Everything we're talking about here really leads me to a trend that I'm seeing emerging in the zeitgeist called Borkor.
