I think it's brainwashing, and I'll be even more hyperbolic.
I say it's a crime against humanity.
I really do.
I think that the teachers and the schools began, they pushed this ideology, and I think in their minds, they were saying, we're doing the responsible things.
These kids should know that the planet is burning, and they should know in fifth grade.
Not that they can do anything about it, but they should learn so they can grow up and be an activist or whatever.
And I think, unfortunately, again, we now know that the tide's turning a bit.
There's been a bit of a vibe shift because reality is hitting with the energy prices and everything.
But think about the social costs back in the day of if you're in 2015 saying, actually, maybe we don't teach climate to...
fifth graders, they'd say, well, you're a climate change denier and you would be ostracized or maybe even be pushed out of a position.
So it just was a snowball compounding effect.
And it really hit every level of our education system.
And it's such a waste of human capital.
It frustrates me so much.
