Yeah.
So it's really worth just biting the bullet and going, do you know what?
I'm going to go away by myself just to see how I deal with it.
Because if nothing else, you will come back having learned something about yourself.
You will feel stronger.
You will feel more confident.
And also, ironically, I have found when I've gone traveling by myself, particularly when I did a road trip in the U.S.,
The irony is that you actually end up meeting more people because you're by yourself.
Because of course, when you're traveling with a boyfriend or your husband and kids or whatever, you're much more into it.
You're not necessarily open to meeting other people.
Exactly, you don't need to.
And you're not open to it.
But when you're single...
you're so much more sort of receptive.
And I have found that you just meet people really quite easily.
And I've had some really lovely kind of life-affirming experience.
I wrote about this in my book, actually, but I've had some real life-affirming experiences with other complete randoms who I've met traveling completely by myself that were really, really, really lovely.
So I think there's a lot to be said for traveling properly solo.
It's an adventure.
It's exciting.
