No foreign government is simply entitled as a matter of right to American weapons at any time, for any purpose.
We have no strings attached.
And it's entirely reasonable for the United States to use the leverage that comes with the provision of armaments to a foreign government to shape that foreign government's conduct, no matter how close an ally they are.
Where a foreign government's conduct is adverse to our interests or contrary to our values, then using that leverage, using that power to advance the interests and values of the American people is not just appropriate, it should be normal.
Yeah, I want to go deeper on the Saudi and Emirati connections because I think this is some of the most blatant and grotesque conflicts of interest and corruption in the history of white houses.
