And he's been pro for many years now.
And so he...
did this promotional video for a brand that he's working with that basically sells like a holster type thing so that you can carry your gun when you're out and about.
And he's basically promoting the fact that you can use it while riding a BMX bike.
So I'll play a little bit of this.
Okay, so from my perspective...
I understand how this is a little bit out there from the perspective of the BMX industry because in all my years in the BMX world, I don't think I ever really heard any kind of controversy or...
public dialogue about the concept of the interaction between guns and BMX bikes.
It's just not really something that ever rose to the level of being a conversation in the bike riding world.
So either way, he does this video.
Next day, his sponsor, Kink Bikes, announces today that he has been removed from the team.
So apparently...
one of the larger BMX brands who previously sponsored him felt so strongly about him endorsing a gun adjacent product that they felt like they could no longer work with him.
Like I didn't either.
Honestly, I was pretty surprised.
You know what I'm saying?
That video doesn't make carrying a gun seem like a reckless endeavor.
It makes it sound like a responsible one, which as much as it might be kind of foreign to some of the guys in the bike industry on the East Coast, in Texas,
