Hi, I love your podcast.

I'm Theo.

And here's my story.

When I was visiting colleges, my hosts left me in their dorm in the evening so they could take care of some things.

It's an older campus and the dorm is pretty much a house.

I figured I'd get ready since it was pretty late and the shared bathroom was empty.

I bring all my stuff with me to brush my teeth, wash my hands, the usual.

I don't think anything up until I look to my left by the window.

Maybe it's because I was tired, but I swear there was a dark shadow pooling on the ground.

Think like the darkness in Twitches.

growing larger and rising up right next to me.

I try to convince myself I'm just hallucinating after a long day and turn back to the sink, but when I look back over a while later, it's still there, floating and growing larger and just staying there, like it's looking back at me or waiting for something.

I decided it wasn't worth going down in a dorm bathroom, grabbed my stuff, and ran back to my host's room to just give up and go to bed.

To this day, I have no idea what that was, if it was anything in the first place.
