Why do you think even in that example of that peak COVID era, we're so comfortable with such, I'm going to call them obnoxious displays of luxury because they are.
Like even if the home does feel warm and comfortable and inviting, like we're still ultimately talking about 20, 30, $40 million homes.
I do think the age thing is interesting and I think maybe it's this idea that because they've created these worlds and sanctums and it feels like you're being allowed in, you're like given permission, that there is an element of aspiration that doesn't feel so far away because they suddenly don't feel so far away.
Like the access to them almost enables that aspiration.
I'm not talking like it's chic and minimal Christian Grey's pad.
I'm talking like there was a custom Skittle machine, like a Lego wall.
It was like all the things he maybe dreamt about having in his childhood.
He was like, I've got adult money.
