This isn't the choice I wanted.
And I'm upset about that.
And I'm angry about that.
And I don't accept it.
And that really is what all of that music, I think, among other things, is a place that that music really stems from.
And a reason that that feels cool now is that with my new record, Fluorescent, it really feels sort of like the opposite of that.
It's actually an album, a lot, which is really centers around forgiveness and
really accepting who you are and where you are, and I think the peace and the joy and...
that that brings you and looking back and accepting memories for what they were and relationships for what they were.
And I'm still 25, so I'm not to say that I am the leader on forgiveness and acceptance, because I'm not, but I think that in relation to The Good Witch, that is why fluorescence is able to have that feeling and stance because it came from such a different place, if that makes sense.
Lots of the music on that album, and I say this with love because I love The Good Witch and I love the music on the album.
So I say this with love, but it's a little bit ridiculous.
Like, it is dramatic and insane and ridiculous.
And, I mean, was about the situation that was so...
What's the word I'm looking for here?
About a situation that was in no way momentous enough to be the inspiration of a 15-track album.
And I was self-aware about that at the time as well.
