Because my first album, I was 19, is it enough said?
And Good Witch was written during a year I was on tour.
I mean, more often than I was not.
And I was stealing away moments and I was sort of going through these heartbreaks.
And yeah, it was a very chaotic time, which is why the music is chaotic in an amazing way.
And Fluorescence was made
I mean, it was started whilst I was on tour with... That year when I was on the Noah tour and Conan and Coldplay and Taylor, it was kind of made in those gaps.
But I was in a really happy, stable relationship.
And then I was really predominantly in London after that when I recorded and properly finished the album.
And yeah, living a very much more stable, peaceful little life than Good Witch.
It was definitely interesting, and I've sort of said throughout making the process, I knew I needed to have love songs on the album, but they're so hard to write.
And I'm really proud of the ones on the album.
They actually all feel, maybe like four or five of them, and they all feel really important to the story of the album, but all feel really like one of one.
Like, they're very specific to me and my relationship, and...
they all feel, yeah, like, unique little stories and moments, and I'm really proud of all of them.
And they're all quite different.
They're not... I think in writing this, people expect a love song to feel quite classic and quite...
earnest and broad, maybe because that's some of the world's favorite love songs.
And I love those too.
