And they got me a job at KPMG, you know, which was one of the requisites of my coming to Auckland was I need gainful employment with somebody, you know,
I was in their marketing department of which there was only one person, that was me.
And one of the partners came down and said, right, your job is to line the corridor halls with photos of the clients, the key clients, you know.
So I had to write a little blurb on all of the key clients and put...
And one of them was Sharon Hunter, PC Direct.
And I always thought that she was a bit of a fox, you know, and obviously commercially very successful.
And so I said, well, you know, there's upsides in this job.
So I prepared for this meeting, you know, this coffee meeting.
And then the partner came down and said, oh, I might join you on this one.
And just completely monstered my one-on-one.
So I resigned, gracefully resigned after that shambles.
It might have been, you know, three hours a week.
Well, it might have been slightly more than that, but it wasn't what I'd call gainful employment.
Morning, you know, morning training and afternoon training.
