I would say, if you don't mind the size, the Q150s, which are actually not made anymore, but you can probably still find them, are by far my favorite desktop speakers I've ever had.
They're just massive, but they sound amazing.
They really could use a subwoofer, though.
And the KC62 does work really well.
It's really good.
It's a shame it's so expensive, but it does work really well.
But really, any desktop subwoofer would be fine for most people.
And I did for, you know, I did the Sonos thing you were saying.
I tried it with, you know, I had mentioned I had bought a pair of Era 300s for a different role in the house, and I just hadn't installed them for a few months, and I kind of borrowed them from my office for a few months.
And a pair of Era 300s with a Sonos sub
is also an incredible sounding setup and costs less than this.
The main problem I had with it was you mentioned briefly the like brief turn on delay and the latency.
The latency is bad enough that you really don't want to use Sonos speakers as desktop speakers for anything where real time sound alignment matters.
Things like watching videos or playing games.
I find it really annoying.
Oh, they were amazing.
I was so happy with those.
But yeah, ultimately, that weird startup delay.
I hate when speakers auto-sleep after a while.
