It's not replacing my Apple Watch.
But I am going to continue to use it during workouts if I have it.
So if I'm on a trip, I'm not going to bring it.
There's no reason for me to do that, really.
Although it is light and doesn't need a charger for a long time, so maybe.
But for my regular workouts, I'm going to keep using it.
For the big walk, I'm definitely going to use it.
Although I think I'm going to use it and an Apple Watch Ultra, just to have multiple tracking things, backups and things like that.
I'm very glad I tried this again.
So thank you everybody who told me that I gave Garmin's kind of a short shrift there.
I still don't like Garmin's, but I do like Suunto.
No, they have what the rest of the watch world calls quick-release spring bars.
So it's a regular 22-millimeter spring bar mount on the watch, and the straps are just regular.
You could put these on any watch with a 22-millimeter spring bar setup, but they have these little tabs in the back.
You can pull to one side, and they pop off, which I think that's what Garmin did, but I forget off the top of my head.
Well, I think, again, it depends on your use case.
So Garmin has a number of significant hardware advantages and maybe software advantages, too.
I didn't get too far into that.
But what I really wanted was something that was small enough that it would not interfere with my workouts or shirts or things like that.
