He had a very abusive father. Well, he's still alive, but he was severely abused when he was little. So he turned to sports and then he broke his back. So he turned to drugs.

But when I crashed emotionally and I really wanted to die was when he started talking to me and reading to me about, he asked me with a book, he said, what's the person you talk to the most? And I said, you. And he said, no, it's you. And I said, that was like the biggest aha moment in my life.
