They've got messy.
As long as no politics or events go around it, there's every possibility, yeah, that people will settle down and enjoy the football and that Americans may really, really get into it properly whilst it's being hosted in America or in North America anyway.
There's games in Canada and Mexico as well.
But
If there's any immigration raids in the same cities as the games are being played, if other political events somehow encroach on it, then they're going to get huge attention because everybody will be watching the cities in which the games are being played and have the potential for
some of these more domestic political disputes actually to go kind of worldwide as a result, especially if you end up with any of the football players making a political stance.
Or do you remember when sports stars were all taking the knee in the middle of stadiums to protest that Black Lives Matter?

in celebration, which raised a lot of questions about what he was doing there in the first place as the head of the FBI, why he thought that sharing pictures of him downing a beer quite that quickly was a good idea, gave a good impression.
But there was a fantastic story within that Atlantic article that they began with, saying that he tried to log into his computer and he found his login details weren't working.
And he absolutely freaked out and assumed that meant that he had been sacked as head of the FBI.
And everybody went running around trying to find out who the new head of the FBI was, just assuming that that's what had happened.
But nobody had told them.
Tells you something about what working for this Trump administration is like, isn't it?
If that's your first thought when you can't log in.
Anyway, it turned out it was just a computer glitch and he is still the head of the FBI.
But I thought that was an absolutely fascinating glimpse, not just into how he operates, but the level of paranoia that there clearly is throughout the administration.
