Well, at that stage, there were possibilities that she was seeing some man, you know, and...

Like that, small towns, you know, a lot of rumours going around and at that stage there was nothing found or still, I don't know, even at that stage people still really still believed that she was gone, you know, that they're still hoping that she might just have gone, I don't know, to England or, you know, that she might turn up, you know.

Well, it puts a very somber, cold sadness in a community, you know.

I think this little girl, a vulnerable little girl, you know, has gone missing and no one seems to know anything, you know.
