I have to say one of the few things that excites me about winter is the opportunity to layer my pieces.

The main thing about layering for me is that it doesn't have to be complicated.

I try to not think about any rules and just have fun with my wardrobe.

Usually I'll start with something cozy and soft as a base layer and then just build from there.

So think chunky knits,

oversized coats, woolen pants, maybe some colorful tights.

Speaking of color, why not break up the dark, dreary, moody winter palette with a pop of blue or a deep forest green?

Color doesn't have to belong exclusively to spring and summer.

Sometimes seeing color in the depths of winter feels like a breath of fresh air.

So listen to your body and be intentional with your choices and yeah, have fun with it.
