I remember so many times down the sidelines, he would get open against a lot of those Bears defenses back in the day.

So we're all very familiar with, if I can bring back a term I use with Dennis Allen,

the trauma of dealing with Devontae Adams back in the day.

Yeah, Richard Hightower was really good today.

Some really good stuff from him.

And Cairo Santos kind of put on a clinic in that first game, especially relative to his counterpart with the Packers.

With Cairo going three for three, boots that 51-yarder, which really, considering the conditions and the confidence with which he booted that ball, was pretty excellent.

And we know that McManus missed the two field goals, missed an extra point as well.

So he just kind of pantsed his counterpart in that as well.

But yeah, Cairo Santos has to deal with the elements.

So does this entire special teams.

The testimonials that continue to roll in here are just amazing because sometimes players, coaches, you say what you have to say.

Oh, the crowd was great.

It's like, oh, we're a great crowd.

We love our fans.

But to have all of these players and coaches going to such extremes, like genuine extremes, to say it's the rowdiest atmosphere that they've ever been a part of continues to blow me away.

maybe because of the fact that and i know the acoustics are better at soldier field now or since they did the renovation years ago but it like soldier field has just never been even as a music venue and i've been to tons of concerts there it's just never been a great um like audible place like you don't think of soldier field as being like one of those places that just gets that loud and it has been so it's just it's it's really heartening to hear that and i still i can't

Imagine where the frenzy that this crowd is going to get itself into right around kickoff at 530 on Sunday.
