i don't want him on the injured list okay that's what i'm saying anybody can be on the injured list i understand what you're saying but i think more importantly the way that he plays helps shape this team and more importantly this team's offense and with him whether he's at the top of the order against righties or whether he's a little bit further down against lefties the fact that he hits 286 after a two for four day the man was on base six times in one game by the way it's a pretty
I think his ability to play left field
And the growth that he's had is such an exponential growth in left field that by the end of the season, if he continues on the trend he's on, he's going to be a very plus-plus left fielder.
And I'm good with that.
When you see that cut late to what he's doing and the play he's making, and then they show the replay of how it started, you're like, oh.
I think he has figured it out, though, for the most part.
Has he?
Yeah.
I think based on what you had in him before he was asked, hey, go play outfield because that's where we need help, and what he's been able to do since being called up to the big leagues, I think he's done a better than admirable job overall.
I'm saying plus in terms of where he started, and he's already better now than where he started.
But I also think his initial reaction is going to get better the more he plays out there every day.
And what he's doing with the bat or with his...
Extra gear to get hit.
Double up, kid.
Is getting him opportunities to stay in the lineup as a left fielder.
I don't think Mune was ever my favorite player on the white side.
Look, I get the... You're more of an old school guy, aren't you?
Like, do stuff that makes me happy.
Yeah.
Swing and miss, I'm not a big fan of.
