Yeah, I mean, the whole team is so much better when he does Mike Trout-type things.
Guys can relax.
Sometimes when he's not in the lineup where he's been hurt the last few years, you got guys trying to be Mike Trout-type players, home run hitters, when they're not necessarily.
So, I mean, one thing that really jumps out for me, Trout's always been patient.
But this team is rated at the top as far as walks this year, and that was definitely not the case the last few seasons.
So now you're showing a lot of power.
They're up amongst leaders in home runs, but they're also rated at the top as far as walks, and that's going to give them a better chance to score multiple runs when they hit a home run instead of always being solo shots.
So everyone respects him so much.
Even going back to that Yankee series,
Just to look on Judge's face and even Trout's face when he's one of those guys at home run, you just see the respect not only his teammates have, but guys that play against Trout.
You said earlier, Mike Trout playing well is great for the game of baseball, and it's definitely the case.
I'll tell you what.
Watching that one game when he robbed three home runs is one of the all-time greatest games defensively I think I've ever seen in my life, and I've seen a lot of games right now in
He grew into the talent we all thought he had last year when he had 37 home runs.
He's a lot more relaxed.
He's got a pretty good idea of the strike zone, too.
Very similar as far as Mike Trout, as far as they're really good low-ball hitters.
I mean, they like breaking balls or fastballs, generally down to lower third of the strike zone and capitalizing.
But you're seeing a kid with a lot of confidence right now.
And baseball is such a difficult sport.
