If you're struggling at all,
You know, then all of a sudden you try to do too much.
You grip the bat a little bit harder.
And it's too tough to do that.
You just got to have confidence, have a game plan.
And the big thing, not only I think you see with Trout now, but you see in Joe Adele, they're swinging at pitches in the strike zone.
They're forcing pitchers to throw the ball in the strike zone because if they chase out of the zone,
not even a guy like Mike Trout's going to hit it.
So Joe Adele's been able to do that quite a bit lately where he's swinging at strikes instead of non-strikes.
I think the big thing is, and I'm sure the Jays will see it when they have that afternoon game, is he's utilizing his foreseeing fastball more so.
He's standing a little taller on the pitching rubber on the mound, which enables him to get that arm up to that good spot.
Before, I mean, his stuff has always been electric.
He's got that knuckle curve.
He's got a sinker that's 99 to 100.
But he also had a splitter and a slider.
But everything was bottom part of the strike zone.
So hitters can center there.
And even, you know, he was a ground ball machine.
But now that he's using his foreseeing fastball, upper part of the strike zone, then he starts his knuckle curve in that same plane, he's getting a lot of strikeouts.
So for a guy prior to this season, wasn't necessarily even with his stuff, he's not a strikeout guy.
