I suppose you can't compare Michael Carrick to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
They're different characters at a different level altogether.
He's been a bit more open-minded about the coaching staff, because when Ole was there, he wouldn't add better coaches to his staff.
Whereas Michael Carrick, from day one, has said, we need a better coach.
He brought in Steve Hollander, I guess, who's been around the block, who will have a big impact.
So, you know, Michael Carrick's different to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
And if he gets the run of results, then what will count in his favour is that he will be cheaper than a Thomas Tuchel or a Carlo Ancelotti.
and there'll be a popular appointment with the fans.
So if you're Ineos or the Glazers and you think, right, who's cheap, who's popular?
That's how it'll work in his favour.
I mean, that is a good question.
I mean, they were definitely missing Mbwemo.
The Wolves game was the one that showed you that no matter who was playing, that Ruben Amarin was just going up a blind alley because they had their great result against Newcastle with four at the back.
Wolves game comes, a team that hadn't won all season, and he goes back to three at the back and it was a terrible performance, I think nine defensive players.
So I think no matter who the players are, the coach is the one that picks the players.
And, you know, we saw some bad results with Mbumu and Ahmad in the team anyway, so I think they were pretty bad in December and it was pretty much down to the head coach for picking the tactics and the plays that he did.
