And that's really what happened, too, at Eloqua when the employees bought all the stock.

And so it built a very strong and resilient culture.
So I think smart VCs are always really happy when employees own more of the company, especially if they're paying for it.
The big difference between getting awarded a bunch of options...
that have an expiration that they have to be redeemed within three months after leaving.
I mean, those are much more ephemeral.
Whereas, no, these guys are card-carrying shareholders.
They're going to show up to the annual shareholders' meeting.
Um, and they're on the same playing field as, you know, all, all other, um, all other investors.
