So when you offer shares for a price, they then get some shares at usually a discount or something like that to the price for the extra time they've gone in and the extra risk they put in.

So we tried to do that.

It was a bit hard.

I think the people we were talking to weren't quite right for that model, so we didn't manage to get it off the ground.

But what did happen is one of the people we were talking to, after we kind of pulled that, came to us and said, hey, I still want to invest, and I think your company's worth...

He said $5 million, and we said, yeah, okay, that works for us.

And so we pulled together and did another round at that price, and that's been successful.

A lot of work.

I've been sitting down and meeting investors for like three or four months now, talking through what the vision is, what the dream is, where we see our strengths, where we see our weaknesses, all that kind of stuff.

So it's been an interesting process.

What's been cool, though, is just –

is how once you kind of get the word out there, how many people are keen to see you succeed and do it.

Yeah, it's, you know, you kind of tell them your vision.

You know, we get no's and we get people saying no, but a lot of people, it's like, yeah, I really like that idea.

I'm willing to back you and give it a go.

You know, most of our investments are relatively, they're not like hundreds of thousands of dollars.

They're in that kind of,

you know 50 to 100 kind of level but um people willing to kind of kick that in to give it a go it's been really cool nice any uh hard work investors like me no no no nobody's been hard work everyone's been really positive what what we're getting a lot of as well as people coming on board and then going how can i help yeah so we've been we have been a bit picky about um who we've been bringing on board um

And those kind of people who've got connections, you know, want to see us succeed, want to introduce us to people.

You know, we're based in Wellington and I'm up here for Meet You and then for a few other meetings.
