That playoff run for the Canucks was so much fun.
I was at an age, too, where at 27 years old that I felt like I could chip in a little bit more.
When I was 19 years old with the Oilers, everything was just kind of brand new and exciting and so on.
When you've played many games in your eight years in your career, you realize that it's hard to get to the finals.
And that playoff run with the Canucks was magical.
It was hard.
We had some gritty players.
We had Pavel Bure that could chip in, Trevor Linden.
Kurt McClain was phenomenal.
Again, you need someone to go make the big save, and he did.
So that run, 1994, was a lot of fun.
Sure.
It was June 5th.
It was game six.
We were ready to win the top and drove the net, hit my skate, and I looked at it, Bob, and from this standpoint, it does happen.
It looked like the puck crossed the line.
I didn't celebrate.
