So they can change the rules automatically.
like they want, they can raise the fees like they want.
With a decentralized platform, you can structure it in a way that you restrict yourself.
So you create this platform and you put in a fee.
So you put in a whatever, some fee, but you don't have the control
over um changing that fee so if you then later you are the monopoly and you are the the big one then you cannot i mean you you still connect this fee but you you don't have 100 control about it and can then just price leverage extract right you won't be able to do stuff like that i mean okay search pricing is is uh
might be useful in a context, but you can't just kind of leverage your position as a monopoly to increase fees in general.
Well, I mean, it depends on your governance mechanism, but you could have a governance mechanism that allows you to change, but the novel thing is
That you can actually do a governance mechanism that does not allow you to change the thing.
And that's really powerful.
I'll give you just one example.
So I personally would never build, let's say, around the API of another platform.
So let's say Twitter.
Because...
They can change the rules anytime.
They can shut it down.
And even if they have well intentions and they want to say, okay, we will never change the rules.
I would not trust them.
I cannot trust them because it's just a public company.
Yeah, I understand.
