So that's what makes this so fascinating to me, because it is a philosophical tradition that makes a lot of sense in a lot of ways.
Hermeticism is a philosophical tradition concerned with the underlying order of reality.
It teaches that the universe operates accordingly to consistent principles that link mind, nature, and cosmos, and that these principles can be understood through symbolism, geometry, and observation rather than belief or doctrine.
A system of universal principles governing reality.
Reality is ordered, intelligible, and interconnected.
Knowledge is conveyed through symbolism and allegory.
Emphasizes harmony between consciousness, nature, and cosmos.
Encoded in sacred texts, geometry, and architecture.
Do you think, I guess, first off, do you think that Hermeticism as it came from Hermes?
Yeah.
Do you think that Hermes' version of Hermeticism is exactly the same as what they were practicing 38,000 years ago?
Just like pagans are evil, right?

And probably the Hermeticists weren't interested in fighting, right?
