uh very well he's been talking to get an opportunity to be that starter um and and it seems like the pirates are going to give him the opportunity to to do that for a pretty good stretch here and then we've got jared jones coming back pretty soon uh who you know took this the lead by storm a couple of years ago unfortunately had had to have the tommy john surgery um but he's been doing well in his rehab starts and you know hope to see him

Here in the next couple of weeks, impacting the major league level as well.

So the team is built around pitching.

That's been a piece of it for a couple of years on the offensive side.

You've been kind of waiting on something to happen, but there's some pieces here.

O'Neal Cruz is having a better year this year.

Brian Reynolds.

Hasn't really hit his stride in 26 yet, but Brian Reynolds is Brian Reynolds.

I think he's going to be who we expect him to be when it's all said and done.

And now the emergence of Connor Griffin is super exciting.

And you've got to give some credit to the front office for going out and getting a guy like Brian Hearn and making a trade for a guy like Brandon Lau that's given that veteran presence from outside the organization and have come in and been impactful.

Hearn

He's on the IL right now.

Hopefully it's a shorter stay, but he's been a big piece, impactful right away.

Brandon Lau, same thing.

Both of them homers on opening day, and Lau hasn't slowed down.

I don't know about externally.

Maybe the pieces could be there.

I think Dennis Santana is going to settle down.

I think Soto has been a great addition.
