Both of those guys were used so heavily early that Isaac Mattson was optioned down to AAA a couple of days ago.

I think he's a guy that is going to get back up and be impactful at some point this year.

With what he did last year, he's got the track record to show that he can do it.

He's just got to iron things out.

I think it was 13 of the first 20 games that the Pirates played this year.

Such a need to go to those arms early in the season that everybody kind of hit a lull right here at one time.

And Santana's looked a lot better his last couple of times out even against the Phillies in the Sunday game and the homestand.

He gave up a home run to Bryce and stop, but his stuff looked better.

And, you know, he had a little bit of a swag back and threw the ball well the other night in St.

Louis.

but it may not be in the bullpen, but it certainly is in the organization and on the roster.

You know, I just mentioned Jared Jones is going to come back at some point.

I don't know what the plan is, but, um,

Pretty soon, we're going to have six starters, and we're only going to have five spots.

So there's somebody from that starting rotation slot into the bullpen.

We've seen the Pirates do that in years past.

There's also going to be conversations about innings and use and things like that, where it could get interesting to see how the Pirates and Bounty Fellings

Look at the bullpen and use guys out of the bullpen.
