That's way over my pay grade.
But just kind of looking at it from what I see, I think the pieces are here.
Just how they're used and how the puzzle is put together is not up to me.
Yeah, you got to see him in the strike zone.
You almost have to treat each at bat like a 2-0 or 3-1 type count before you swing the bat.
You look in one spot, and if you get it, you let it fly.
You know, you got to force him into the zone, and he has been erratic with finding the strike zone.
It looks like there's some mechanical things that he's been working through.
I know Bubba is an exceptional athlete, played, assigned to go to college and played quarterback in college as well as baseball.
at clemson so not a small program i mean that tells you what kind of athlete the guy is and at times he has looked a little robotic to me um i haven't had the opportunity to really talk to him about it i actually coached bubba in high school um so he was one of my pitchers when i was doing some stuff with a travel program back home in atlanta and um
He just didn't look as fluid or hasn't looked as fluid from time to time.
So, you know, looking for him to go out there today and just kind of let it all hang out.

When he's ripping the baseball in the zone, you're going to see 100 consistently.
You'll see 101 plus from time to time.
And that changeup, when he's fluid with it,
it almost looks a little bit like a split finger.
He gets some bite and some downward action to it.
Um, and you know, when you've got to gear up and get the barrel of the bat ready for a hundred miles an hour, even straight change-ups are hard to catch up to.
But when you've got a change-up that has a little bit of bite to it, uh, it can be really difficult.
